    That stuff used to be served for school dinners when I was about 9. If you weren't careful, the slabs of reconstituted meat slurry would slide off your plate on the layer of grease they left on everything they touched. Unfortunately, if you let this happen, the Evil Dinnerlady would shout at you and then drag you back to get a plateful of the oil and leftover scraps from the bottom of the serving tin.

    Even so, I never ate it. I knew that, by ten to one, shed have to let me out even if I hadn't eaten it, because registration was at one and they would need the hall for PE. I made that woman so angry, she would screech about starving children and how she ate the stuff every week without fail, as did her daughter (who incidentally weighed about 160lbs at the age of 9).

    She dropped dead of a heart attack at the age of 47.

    That's funny most every one in my family eats it and are past age 47. My mom at 87. And my DD eats it at age 9 and weighs 53lbs.
