Salmon what can i make with it

i have some frozen salmon im confused any suggestions what to do and make it delicious

  • Thaw. You can put a light coating of light tasting olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon slices on top. Bake on 350 for about 20 minutes or until it flakes easily. Eat:)

    One of my favorite salmon recipes is to mix 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce and 1/4 cup brown sugar to make a marinade. Add some lemon pepper directly to the fish fillet, and then put in a ziploc baggie that contains the marinade. Allow to marinate in the fridge for 24 hours. Grill the fish either on foil, or preferably, on a cedar plank. It tastes AMAZING.

    My kids don't like fish, but they eat this up because the marinade takes the strong taste out of the fish.

    I use sea salt, pepper, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, and a little butter.

    Here's what I do.

    1) Rinse with vinegar to get the fishy smell out, then place in a flat pan for marinating
    2) Make a marinade out of crushed garlic, olive oil, crushed red pepper, lemon juice, mint, black pepper, and a bit of red wine vinegar
    3) Brush the marinade onto each side, pouring the excess into the pan.
    4) Let soak for, oh, I dunno, however much time you have. A couple of hours will do ya.
    5) Grill for 5-8 minutes per side depending on thickness

    Make cat food. Frozen salmon is the worst. Then go buy some fresh wild caught Alaska salmon.
  • I am having defrosted salmon tonight too!! I put in the fillet onto tin foil and top with scallions, peppers, cherry tomatoes and then a bit of chilli flakes, crushed garlic, olive oil, (tiny bit of sesame oil), and ginger. Wrap it into a parcel and bake in the oven. I will be having mine with steamed broccoli, carrots and a corn on the cob...yummy!!!

    Cut some little pockets in it and stuff with goat cheese, glaze with Dijon mustard and honey, and bake.

    I like it on the grill steamed in aluminum then chopped and served with hot soba noodles that have been tossed with fresh raw spinach, small amount of Rasperry vinagarette, feta cheese and fresh cut straberries and fresh mint.

    I put mine straight on the grill with nothing but Salt and Pepper.
