New here, trying something else.............again

Hi
My Name is Holly, I am 46 about to be 47 years old. I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I sacrificed much of my life for my children and now that they are grown and on their own, it is my turn. I am 5'4" and weigh 235. My top weight was 263 and I lost some by watching what I eat and cutting out the regular cokes and walking my very big dog. Then I had to get rid of the dog (long story), the holidays came (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter) and I just stopped losing (and started eating). At least I can say that I haven't really gained of course I am fighting with the same 5 pounds or so but now summer is here and it is time for me to get serious.

I would love to have new friends on here for support and that I can support however I don't know how to add new people because I am very new to this program and haven't quite figured that out yet. If you want to add me then please feel free to do so.

I am thinking about trying out the C 2 5K program, has anyone tried it???? Please let me know how it worked out for you.

    Do c25k! Don't hesitate to repeat weeks if you feel you need to. I go at a very slow pace, but I love jogging my 5k several times a week.

    Hi Holly! It's nice to meet you. I think that you'll find MFP a great tool to help you on your journey. I've been considering c 2 5k for a while now, but haven't started it yet. Perhaps we could do it togther?

    Thanks for the support. Zara, I have never really been much of a jogger but I have looked into this program and I think I can do it. I would love to be able to run a 5k or more sometime in the future and Rena I would love to start the program with you.
