Fitbit experiences?

I have decided to buy a Fitbit one today. After 4 months of steady weight loss, I find my weight loss is standing still and I keep bouncing back and forth between the same 2 pounds. I know the missing link is activity. I have gotten the food part down...it's is calories out that is needing help. I am hoping this tool will motivate me to do more exercise. I love math and I am a competitive person, so I feel that a tool like this would always have me trying to do more. Anyone have increased or continued success after starting to use a Fitbit? I'd love to hear about your experiences.

I am buying a fitbit pedometer this weekend! Hoping it will help track my over all calorie burn so i can adjust my food. I seem to hit a wall every 10 lbs I loose. I am right there with you girl!

I recently purchased the Fitbit One (3 weeks ago) Love it. I'm competitive by nature, so everyday I'm trying to get better numbers then the previous day! I haven't synced it with MFP yet, I've been using both independently, although I plan to do so once I have 5 min. to sit and set it up! Good Luck!

I've had a Fitbit One for about 4 months now and absolutely love it! It keeps me on track to try and hit 10,000 steps every day. I almost had a nervous breakdown when I thought I lost it one time. The little bugger is sometimes hard to keep track of but totally worth it for me!

    I love my Fitbit One.

I am using it a bit differently than I anticipated. I have used pedometers before and got obsessed about reaching 10,000 steps. Now I am not so obsessed about hitting 10,000 HOWEVER it has been incredible motivating me to be more active. I also enjoy logging on to Fitbit and seeing that I passed one of my Fitbit friends is weekly step counts.

I set MFP to sedentary, and then have Fitbit adjust my calorie allowance throughout the day. I love the link between being more active and getting more calories (I might or might not eat back the calories, frankly its the joy of "I was so active today that I was given 230 additional calories" that motivates me)

Same story as you really, I am stuck at my weight after loosing a fair bit so got the Fitbit one a week ago. It gives you a good insight into how much you do in the day & works brilliantly with MFP, I am very impressed with it.
