I'm wondering approximately how many1 cup servings this would make? Trying to figure out calorie count prior to making0

I make a similar taco soup, but I don't use enchilada sauce or mushroom soup. I use hominy instead of corn, and I make it with chicken, pork or hamburger, depending on what we want. I add some salsa, usually the black bean and white corn salsa from Walmart.0

I want to try this just wish I had everything in my pantry now but I will make it another day0

Made this in my crockpot with a few modifications. Added about .75 lbs lean ground beef, already cooked, added one can of diced green chiles, used fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic, and it was amazing. Garnished with some Fritos, some sharp cheddar, a dollop of sour cream and guacamole. My entire family loved it. I make taco soup often but have never added the cream of chicken soup, it definitely made the recipe.0

Yummy! I entered it into the recipe app here and it comes out to about 170 calories. (That's figuring about 12 servings.)0

Sounds amazing, thanks!0

I would leave out the cream of anything soup, and instead puree a can of white beans.0

What does "bump" mean? I've been seeing it a bit on this site but I have no idea what it means.0

it saves the thread to the "my topic" menu
or bumps it up to the top of the list0 -
That sounds delish. An exact calorie count would be nice though.0

True, and my new goal is to cut down on my sodium (one way by using less canned goods). But wow, it does sound good, figure if I modify a bit it'll fit for me.0 -
Whats the sodium on this per serving? Im guessing insane lol sounds good though0
-
That sounds great! And easy!0

I made this soup using this recipe. I used all low-sodium versions of the canned goods, and used frozen chicken instead of canned. By my calculations, a one-cup serving was 162 calories, 2g of fat, 86mg sodium, 3g carbohydrates, and 10g protein. And it was delicious!! Hope this was helpful.0
