Body Revolution starting May 20

Beginning again. I have started this about 4 times now. Each time, I've gotten into it a ways and then something has come up to derail me, injury or illness or just busy schedules with four children, and I've never finished. I'm coming off of my longest stretch of NOT doing it because I have told myself, "What's the point of starting, You never finish." This morning I told myself, "I WILL finish! And I can't finish if I don't start!" So, Today was Day 1 workout 1 and I did it!

    That's the spirit!! :-) I don't know what Body Revolution is but I'm aiming to start Insanity again later this evening (if I ever leave the office and make the 90 mile journey home!)

    Body Revolution is Jillian Michaels answer to P90X and Insanity. It is a 90 day program consisting of 12 weight workouts and 3 cardio workouts.

    I also started this May 20th, finished Workout #2 today! I am surprised at how doable the first 2 workouts were, but Jillian keeps talking about how this is the EASY part so enjoy it while we can....I have never successfully completed a workout plan from start to finish, so I'm super motivated and super excited to see this through! :OD

    I started a couple of days ago. Today is Day 5 for me. I agree. So far the workouts are very do-able.

    Day 6 (Saturday): I didn't do the cardio workout. I mowed the grass and went for a bike ride.

    Sunday : rest day

    I almost didn't do it this morning, telling myself that I had already missed too many days. I did Phase 1, Workout 3.
  • Hey, I was just going to post about starting JMBR today. This will be my 4th time starting as well but I am determined to finish this and as a "prize" I will allow myself to purchase insanity. Anyone on their day 1 today? Add me if you are doing the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution.

    I did Phase 1, workout 4 today. It was 8 at night, but I finally talked myself in to it.
