I swim a few times a week, but have not worn my HRM during these workouts. Has anyone here worn theirs swimming and was everything ok with the strap and watch after the workout? I am aware they are water resistent....I have a Polar model.
Thanks for any feedback. M

I can never get my Polar to work in the water. It loses the connection constantly. No problems with the water resistance, just don't push the watch's buttons while underwater.0

I've used my Polar FT7 while swimming and it worked fine. The only things to remember are:
Don't push the watch buttons while the watch is submerged.
You may need to tighten the strap a bit more - mine tends to slip down while swimming unless I make it extra tight.0 -
Thanks Patrick...I didn't use it this morning, wasn't daring enough. Maybe Thursday.0

Polar FT4 works fine in the pool. Do follow the instructions regarding
not pushing buttons and you should be fine.
It is a good check on the calorie burns recorded by MFP and other sites
which may be averages of some unknown model. This will be the data
on the one and only you! Can't do better than that. Go for it!0
