Carbonated water with supplements

I tried posting this on another site, but I may have put it in the wrong spot, so I didn't recieve any answers. I'll try here.

I've been taking my pre and post workout supplements as recommended, and I've been putting them in water, but I find one in particular tastes aweful (to me). I then tried it with Perrier water (please don't laugh at me), but it tasted great! - okay, not great, but certainly more bearable than before!
M question is twofold; does the carbonation damage my supplements in any way? Secondly, does carbonated water still count as water intake for the day, or is it really no benefit?
I am fairly new at using supplements and weight training in general, so please excuse my ignorance if this is a stupid question.

    I would recommend body building.com there are a lot of articles there. There are some schools of thought that suggest anything with citric acid deminishes the impact/ benefits of supplements. Nothing beats pure water. I do infuse my water using a fabulous little infuser I bought at costco $19.99. You can add all kinds of fruits, berries, lemon, mint and stevia to help sweeten it. I like cucumbers and lemon in my water. It acts as a natural diuretic and is frereshing. Before I had the infuser I just added these to a quart of water. Another idea is to infuse green tea or Yerba Mate tea w/ fruit as well. Both are a great to suppress appetite and to give you a little pick me up energy since they have caffiene. Be careful on bodybuilding.com some are for crazy body builder types. I follow Jamie Eason . I like her fitness tips. Good Luck!!

    I drink carbonated water all the time, sometimes with a little lemon. Yes it counts as water for the day. That's actually one of the main reasons I drink it: I have a hard time reaching my 8 glasses a day (usually only 5 or 6) because I guess I'm not a naturally thirsty person unless I REALLY work hard at something for a period of time. It's somewhat more appealing for me to reach for carbonated water than flat, otherwise I carry water bottles around with me & have tea in the morning & before I go to bed. I don't really drink much else besides a glass or two of wine a couple times a week.

    I do read the labels of water though: Not all water is just plain water! I don't have anything with any sort of chemical or sodium, etc.
