okay, ive been trying really hard to lose those pounds! especially belly fat. im eating clean, carrot juices (homemade) etc and only have one brown wheat flatbread for dinner. I never used to run on the tredmil and now I've started to actually jog-run on the tredmil at least 4 times a week, alongside leg workouts lunges with weights. Im getting quite upset with this, as im worrying whether im one of those people 'who cant lose weight' genetically. (i keep findings this on the internet to)! two things are, that i dont really eat every 2-3 hours..as i dont know what to eat thats healthy every couple of hours. although, i make sure my main 3 meals are healthy. I also dont drink much water, but apparently thats important for weightloss?
Id really appreciate anybodies help, as its coming to a point whether i dont know if i should give up. Im 5ft5 and i weigh 10 stones. Thank you

Water is very important to weight loss. Try to get more water, for starters.
A few other thoughts: Don''t go just by the scale. Have you taken your measurements? You may be losing inches even if you're not losing weight.
On your calorie intake: have you looked into your BMR and TDEE? Here's a great explanation:

I just started on this myself. I've only been on this plan for a week, so I actually gained. But, they say it takes time for the metabolism to re-set. I've been on 1200 calories for so long, I'm giving it at least a month. It makes sense to me, though, because I'm not wanting to "cheat" so often, because I'm much more satisfied.
Good luck!0 -

How much do you eat each day (you can't possibly have listed your entire meal plan in yoru post...can you have? - only one brown wheat flatbread for dinner???)0 -
thank you for your reply! i will defiantly start drinking 8 glasses of water from tomorrow. i was on 1,200 calls last month, for one month and didn't lose any weight. i dont understand the tdee and bmr. my tdee is 1800 whilst my bmr is 1,500. I dont understand how much i should be eating, and i think that is the problem. im worried that i will never be slim!0

hi jzametti, that is not my complete meal plan. that was just an example of my carb intake. So i start the day off with tea, followed by a freshly made carrot and apple juice. an hour before i workout, i drink whey protien shake. after my workout, my lunch varys, usually tomato soup/ veggies and quorn lamb style pieces with salad or porridge. if i get peckish il eat a handful of grapes or a banana. Then, for dinner i usually have spiced vegetables with chilli power cooked in 1tbps olive oil and one brown flatbread for dinner.0

It sounds like you may not be eating enough.
Your BMR is the number of calories your body burns to keep you alive. That's how much you need to eat for the important things, like keeping your heart and lungs functioning. Unless you're very overweight it's often recommended not to eat less than that.
Your TDEE is your total daily energy expenditure. It's how many calories your body uses in a day. If you ate 1800 calories a day you would maintain your current weight.
For safe and healthy weight loss you want to eat between these two numbers. I would say in your case to stick to 1500-1600 calories a day. Your weight loss might be slower than you'd like but you'll be keeping your body happy in the process.0 -
thank you. I've started to eat more, i reckon 1,500 cals and im also working out, which i rekon burns 300 cals. is that ok? ive read alot about eating back calories. that often confuses me to0
