AHHHHHHH!! im no loosing this weight fast enough.

So i have been doing good for a little over three weeks now and even though i haven't weighed myself i know i have lost since my jeans now fit me comfortably. yet im not loosing it fast enough.. i have a wedding in less than a month back in my home town and i m trying my hardest to look great. (im the maid of honor) can anyone give me extra tips?

PS i cant work out too much due to a surgery i had.. and i eat very healthy.. except Fridays are my cheat day.. (ex.. homemade wheat pizza, with grilled chicken and light cheese, and or a glass of red wine)

anything will help.. im drinking green tea with cyan and cinnamon in the AM and most of the day (its supposed to speed up your metabolism) and i stay a little under or right at my calorie goal daily.

Tip 1: Don't plan to be a certain weight by a certain date. The body doesn't care.
Tip 2: Drop the cheat day maybe?

    LMFAO... seriously?

you want special tips and you are still including a cheat day?

you have a month you gotta seriously buckle down.

Weight loss and muscle building doesn't happen over night- ultimately planning is or was rather your best tool

. But the best bet is to just keep up at what you are doing- find a way to work out- swim- spin- walk- do free weigh exersises- whatever. I can workout with a broken arm or foot and be okay. you don't need to lift ALL the things to get a great workout- but you need to make sure you are doing something.

I really wouldn't worry about it- just do your best- no one cares what you look like anyway- it's your friends big day.

Get rid of the cheat day. Don't set your expectations so high that you will disappoint yourself.

How much are you trying to lose, how long did it take for you to put it on?

Example, it took me 14yrs to get to the weight i was when i first started (221lbs) im trying to lose around 84lbs.

In 5 weeks iv lost 10lbs.

It took you how ever long to put it on..... dont expect it to come off in one hit just because you want to look great for a wedding, which btw.... its the brides day... not yours.

It might be time to look into body recomposition more than weight loss. By all means, keep trying to lose the fat, but picking up a lifting routine (or any resistance training) will make your body look slimmer and more toned than diet alone.

Weight loss is a slow process...it's science and math...sorry...should have started sooner; it's not a sprint.

Dont worry, brides like having fat bridesmaids. It makes them look thinner.

How long did it take you to gain it? Could take you twice as long to lose it.

What everyone else is saying: ditch the cheat day. If you have a tight window in which to lose the weight, and if it's important enough to you, one month of no cheat days really shouldn't be too difficult.

Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. You're not going to lose a ton of weight in a month. Generally healthy weight loss is 1-2lbs a week.

Just keep doing what you're doing and appreciate how it's good for your body. Beyond that, you can try cutting carbs for a few days before the wedding, since low carb generally results in the loss of a lot of water weight. it won't be permanent, but it might help a little.

Yes no time to cheat! Plus already got a motivational goal the day in question!
    Good luck!

1 - Plan weightloss goals with a reasonable amount of time to actually reach them in a healthy way.

    2 - See 1

There is no magic formula or trick. You need to eat at a deficit. Exercise helps burn fat and tone what is left behind.

You cannot safely lose a great deal of weight in a short period of time without close supervision by a doctor.

I would drop the cheat day and figure out a way to exercise.

Kick the cheat day. I allow myself a cheat day when I'm trying to maintain weight, but when I'm trying to lose, I don't cheat.

<-- 2 years, 35ish pounds.... Now THAT is not fast enough   but I feel better about myself EVERY day and this will STAY OFF because of the commitment that I have put forward for MYSELF.

"Never give up on a dream due to the amount of time it takes to accomplish it, the time will pass anyway".... Are you simply losing weight for this wedding, or are you losing it for LIFE???

Don't eat wheat for a while. I have lost 4 pounds this last week. I'm less bloated and am kicking the carb addiction.

I think you can have what you are having on Friday within your calories. It doesn't sound like a major splurge to me.
