Polar and sprint/running question

So just wondering should I be re calibrating my HRM polar watch as I lose weight? Or just leave it?

Alsooooo if I go for walks and incorporate sprinting into it like walk 30 seconds and sprint 30 seconds would that help me lose more fat/ calories than just walking?

Someone once told me walking is better because it is a slow burn thus burning more fat...but I sweat a lot more doing the sprint/walk method

Thanks in advance!

Walking/Sprinting (intervals) is better than plain walking - better cardio & you will burn more calories.

I adjust my HRM with weight loss otherwise it's not as accurate.
