Hi All.
I have been using the site for a while but this is my first post. I am in a position where I have to lose weight for a gall bladder operation in about 17 weeks time.
I started out at 287 lbs at Christmas and am now 249lbs. I started with My Fitness Pal 6 weeks ago and have lost 17lbs. Its much easier with a food diary to keep me on the right path.
Hopefully I will stick to my diet as I am doing so well - I have gone down from a dress size 28 to almost a 22. Well a M&S 22 fits fine. My goal is to be 16st (thats another 27lbs) by the time I have my operation and to continue this journey until I am a healthy size 14.
Wish me luck
XxX

Good Morning!
This is my first time using the site but this is not the first time I've tried to change my lifestyle and get healthy, just like most everybody else. I do have a better motivation this time around...I had a hysterectomy in Feb and since then have noticed that all I have to do is look at something not good for me and I gain 2" belly fat. I don't want to be 50 and fat, Ive been fat my whole like. An even better motivation is my Faith, for the first time I can look at a piece of bread or cake and not want to eat it ALL! I have joined a gym and have a fitness coach who is awesome! I look forward to sharing my journey and uplifting anyone who may need it, even those who don't think they need it!
My ultimate goal is to lose 50lbs by the end of the year and gain strength and endurance in the process!
Good Luck to all, look forwarding to getting to know you,
