I know there's a lot of apple haters out there, lord knows I was one for years (I still HATE iTunes).
BUT, the iPhone 5 is the best phone I've ever had in my life.0 -
Actually my blackberry curve was my best phone. It just sucked as a small portable computer.0

Motorola StarTAC...1996
I had one of those too, and LOVED it!!!0 -
As a mechanic I went through NUMEROUS phones normally I'd have to replace mine every 2 weeks I'd buy bundles of them on ebay. Through all of those phones this one still is #1.
This phone went through
1.) Falling out of my pocket on my motorcycle on the Interstate more than once
2.) Getting ran over by a Semi Truck (used to be a mechanic)
3.) Dropped in a drum of used oil
4.) Smashed numerous times while getting stuck in the drivetrain of a truck
5.) Washed a few times
6.) Oh I had a tanker full of hydraulic fluid explode and sent me traveling a couple yards down the road, phone lived through that.
I duct-tape the phone together and even though only a few buttons work I can still turn it on to this day (been gah 7 years) the battery doesn't hold a charge at all but it's still in my toolbox waiting to be used again I suppose.0 -

You made me just LOL in front of my whole office! And I'm not supposed to be on the internet, so I can't tell the truth about what I'm laughin' at! #Best reply ever! I needed that laugh too...0 -

Both my mom and my best friend had this phone and refused to replace it until they couldn't get them anymore.
I don't think I've had my best phone yet.0 -

Samsung Galaxy 3.
I do not know what I'd do without this phone!
The only reason I see switching is if I decide to go with the bigger screen and get the Note.0 -

You should definitely get the Note II....bigger screen...battery life is phenomenal! Mine has only died on me once and that was because I hadn't charged it for 2 days...LOL0 -

I was trying to remember that phone. It was awesome!! haha not! My fave has been my Droid Incredible II. It has been well over 2 years and it still works. Cracked the screen recently, just in time to have to do an upgrade. Ugh, for some reason, I would just rather not have a contract.0 -

I swore by Blackberry for years. Changed to Android HTC EVO...loved it for about 2 months then couldn't wait to upgrade. Last month I got the iPhone 5 and while it's very basic compared to all the new Android phones, I like it a lot. It does what I need it to without over complicating everything. I have to admit though, I HATE iTunes...always have, always will. :-(0

Me too. That Audiovox was bullet proof and never dropped a call. My new iPhone...not so much.0 -
I love my Galaxy S4 - but the best phone I ever had was the Galaxy S "Epic" keyboard phone.
