My first Aduiovox CDM9000 was AMAZING at that time. Since then, iPhone rocks.

Me too. That Audiovox was bullet proof and never dropped a call. My new iPhone...not so much.

And it was POWERFUL. I would be making clear calls where others had lost signal miles back. Luckily I haven't had a single dropped call on my iPhone yet. Verizon in AZ is pretty reliable.

Jitterbug. Big numbers, lighted dial, walks you through it, will connect instantly to a live operator. No unneeded bells and whistles, apps, pictures, video, any of that. It calls in, it calls out. I only use it when I'm off the farm and need to contact somebody; at home we use the landline phone.

Absolutely loved this phone when I had it in 2003. Small, light, reliable and with a - wait for it - colour screen!

I left it in a pub in Oxford Circus with some VERY dodgy texts on it from a girl I was seeing at the time. It was never handed in.

I LOVED my Palms for years, was very sad when they went away. Had to switch when my Centro breathed its last, chose a Blackberry and couldn't WAIT to upgrade from that. Finally got an iPhone 4S, and love it now too.

Another vote for the Galaxy S3, great phone. I lost one in February and replaced it with one exactly the same! I've been an Android user since the Google Nexus One and good grief how that operating system has come on. I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 too.

I have had a number over the years. My first was a Nokia 2110 - not quite the brick Motorola pictured in previous posts but not small either! My current phone is an iPhone 4S. I too hate iTunes and the whole transfer PC<->Phone nastiness. What's so unpleasant about drag-and-drop, Apple? My favourite was a Nokia 5800 - it still works and if I could get the same handset with a bigger screen and more memory today I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
  • Ah I have had so many different phones. I have had the basic tracphone, a CRAZR, a blackberry, Xenon, HTC Inspire, (I'm sure I'm forgetting some) and now I have a Galaxy S3 and would have to say it's definitely the best.

Galaxy S4! I've owned and iPhone and an HTC phone and I debated for weeks between the Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5. It looked like I was going to get the iPhone due to the storage issues on the S4, but low and behold they released the 32GB and that's all she wrote! Been loving it ever since...

I've been selling mobile phones for close to 12 years now so I have seen them come, go and come again (Motorola V3...what a waste of time!). At the moment I have an HTC Sensation XE and I love it but, let's go waaaaay back into time...

    Best phones:
    Nokia 6110/6210/6310/6310i
    Nokia 6500 Slide
    Nokia 7610
    Nokia 6230/6230i

and the one that started it all - Nokia 5110. Can't beat that face off, snake game, 'kick' ringtone magic!

Ahhh, back when Nokia made THE phones to own.

    Worst phones:
Any Windows phones (past AND present)
Any Motorola except the StarTac, just for retro value

As a mechanic I went through NUMEROUS phones normally I'd have to replace mine every 2 weeks I'd buy bundles of them on ebay. Through all of those phones this one still is #1.

    This phone went through
1.) Falling out of my pocket on my motorcycle on the Interstate more than once
2.) Getting ran over by a Semi Truck (used to be a mechanic)
3.) Dropped in a drum of used oil
4.) Smashed numerous times while getting stuck in the drivetrain of a truck
    5.) Washed a few times
6.) Oh I had a tanker full of hydraulic fluid explode and sent me traveling a couple yards down the road, phone lived through that.

I duct-tape the phone together and even though only a few buttons work I can still turn it on to this day (been gah 7 years) the battery doesn't hold a charge at all but it's still in my toolbox waiting to be used again I suppose.

And snake!! I loved that phone :)

Mine's the phone I currently have - Sony Xperia S. Wouldn't trade it for the world

OMG the kick ringtone!!!!! And how pissed you got when your friends used it too. Hahaha. Good times.

I just got the samsung galaxy s3 and it's my favorite phone so far. I went through like 5 HTC phones and all of them left me with daydreams of smashing them in a field office space style. I have no interest in iPhone because my bf has one and the things it CANT do make it hardly worth all the hype.
