Fat Free Very Low Calorie Ranch Dressing (Easy too!)

This may have been posted before, but in case someone missed it, like me...

Mix together 1 packet of Ranch Dressing dry mix (we prefer Hidden Valley), 1C of plain fat free Greek yogurt, & skim milk until desired consistency is reached. We used 1/2C skim, but next time will try 1/4C to make it thicker. Probably better if you let it sit overnight to dissolve the mix completely. Blender Bottles are great for mixing it. Using 1/2C, it ends up being only 10 calories/tblsp, no fat, just protein & carbs. Store bought light runs 40 cal/tblsp & is mostly fat.

I had given up ranch dressing because it was so high in calories, & the light ones tasted awful to me...but not anymore!

NOTE: May still be too high in sodium for those watching their intake in that area.

I do this all the time, will work with almost any dry seasoning mixes too. Awesome to save calories and fat!

I like to use skim buttermilk. Still fat free, but a richer, thicker end product.

Wow! I didn't even know they made skim buttermilk, guess I always thought it'd be like making fat free butter...lol. I'll have to check it out, because I think it would make the flavor even better.
