My BFF and I lost 39 pounds together on MFP

Hi, I just wanted to share how my friend and I lost weight together on MFP. Lynn joined in early March and by mid March I signed up too on MFP. I was 10 pounds heavier starting off. She has lost 14 pounds and I have lost 25 pounds in the last 2 1/2 months. When she reached the 150's, we celebrated by going to Charming Charlie's to buy jewelry. Anyway, it is awesome to have a friend to share the weight loss journey with.
Here is a picture of Lynn, my baby and myself. I am the one in blue.
I shared earlier today my before and after photos and am re-posting them here.

A few things that have helped me lose weight have been:
Tracking all my food every day.
Eating mainly healthy whole foods.
Eating often, but small portions.
No alcohol, no pop, no juice. Just water, some coffee and tea.
Exercising almost every day and sometimes more than once. I usually run about 40 minutes pushing my baby in a jogger. Work out at Curves for strength training. Working in my garden. Riding my bike. Last but not least I am breast feeding my baby.
Good luck! The key is to be consistent and make lifestyle changes. No fad dieting!0 -
