Second attempt at MFP

Hi there,

I lost 50lbs in 2012 before my wedding on the 8th of August.

I had promised myself that it wasn't just for the wedding and that this was a lifestyle change. I don't know if I was lying to myself or it was my way of mentally being able to lose the weight but I have put most of this back up again!

I am now without denial and know that I want to lose this weight, not for an occasion but for me. I am a Mommy to a 3 year old and I do not want this to be his future!!!

I have cleared the loss on MFP and have just began again.

I am looking for friends to help and support me in my journey xxx

Easy enough when determined to do it. Remember this; Buildings were never built by those unwilling to build! Right now, you're about to build an awesome building. =]

Hope you the best of luck, and welcome back to Myfitnesspal! =]

I lost 2 stone in 2011 and like you promised myself is was my new life....but,sometimes life throws you a curveball and we are only human....I had a dreadful year in 2012 financial issues and stress ending in an emergency op in late dec ....I nearly died basically and promised myself I would start again and lose the 3 stone I gained from emotional overeating in 2012. But I have had several attempts this year lost a bit stalled got depressed and binged again gained back more weight each time...but now I'm mentally ready to do this and be here for the long haul...so I'm here with you

This is my second time through too I find I do well till I hit a plateau & then I get so frustrated I give up. So far Im in a 2 month plateau but am sticking with it this time as it is supposed to be a forver change not just temporary right? So hopefully we will continue on & keep it off this time. Good luck to you :)
