Days where you just don't eat much

Hi guys!
So does anyone have days where they just don't eat that much?
Obviously we are told that we should have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner. Today, I didn't have breakfast or a morning snack, and I had a very small lunch - that was four hours ago and I'm still not hungry! Do you guys force yourself to have a snack even if you're not hungry? I also worked out today and burned over 400 calories. I have no idea how I'm going to eat all the calories I still have... 1800 and it's already 3:30 PM!

Because of my meds, I had those days a lot a while back. I just ate what I could and didn't worry too much about going over calories if I was hungrier the next day, and then tried to make sure that my weekly caloric average was in my target zone.0

No. Never. Ever.0

I usually don't have these days either but for some reason today I am just not even in the mood for food... or even hungry!

Yes though 99% of the time it is due to eating heavier or larger amounts of foods the previous day.0

I find if I don't eat regularly, when I start to actually feel hungry, it's too late and I'll grab for the first thing that I eat. And that won't be a carrot or a piece of fruit. So I make sure I stay on track throughout the day.
Have a nice supper and a snack, then try to get those calories in over the next few days. Your body needs them to achieve your goals.0 -

I actually DID go out to dinner with my future hubby last night. I wonder if that's what it could be!0 -

So, eat them tomorrow. Or not at all. Unless you are severely deficient on average it's fine. I don't eat the same number of calories every day. I love days when I'm less hungry and can eat less because it means I have more cushion on those days when I want to eat all day long, and/or kill of a bottle of wine or two.0 -
I get the odd day like this... randomly or because I ate a lot the day before!
I find it normally balances out with some days where I never feel full!
You might find yourself hungrier than normal in the next couple of days but as long as it's only the odd day, then I wouldnt worry too much! If it becomes regular than I would force yourself to eat as your body needs fuel0 -

I do love wine...0 -
I'm having the same kind of day today. I'm not too worried about it; like others have said, as long as your calories balance out to roughly your target number, no big deal.
If you DO want to get a little closer to your caloric goal today (1800 is quite a deficit!), you might try to "drink your calories." That's something I normally wouldn't do, because on days when I'm really hungry it feels like a waste to get calories from a drink, but on days like today it's a good way to get your number up without making yourself feel too full. Chocolate milk is my favorite.0 -

Yup. The low days happen. I usually (always) make up for it on other days. I try to keep an eye on my weekly totals more than my daily.0 -

Me, yesterday. Maybe it had to do with adding in swimming which I haven't done in over a year.0 -
I'm terrible on the weekends and always under-eat...but I make up for it with beer and whatnot...0
