Hey there. I started at 280...weighing 246 now. You can add me if you like, so can anyone else.
I used to be concerned with how much I need to lose but these days I don't think about it really. I've got my eye on the prize...patience is one of, if not THE most important thing to have when you have a lot to lose..just my 2 cents. Good luck!!0 -
Me too and at least we are starting. Remember a stick of butter weighs a quarter of a pound so every little bit counts. Today is day one for me but I think each day is an accomplishment. Dont be discouraged and dont give up... we can do this!0

Don't feel discouraged seeing people weighing less than you. A lot of people on this site started at much higher weights.
Anyway...I started at 242, lost some, gained some back...started again at 236 and here I am today at about 205-206. You can do it! :flowerforyou:0 -

I'm currently 201 lbs but I start at 262 lb back in December. It has been a hard but very rewarding road. I would like to get down between 140 to 150.0 -
I feel ya hun. I started at 243ish and 5'2''on 4/24 :grumble: and I'm down 6.5#'s. I get very discouraged but I gotta keep pushing forward. It's a lifestyle change not a quick fix, that's what I tell myself. Keep your head up and don't look back to old you :happy:0

Hi all, I am 29 years old and 248 pounds! I am really trying to create a healthier lifestyle for my kids and I. I have always been heavy but it didn't hit home until my 10 year old daughter was being bullied because of her weight. I hate bullying! So I am trying to get a grip on my health in order to show her how to be healthy and comfortable in her own skin. Please feel free to add me, I would love to support you on this LONG journey! Hi! I'm 240 now, my highest was 295 and I'm working towards 175. I'm been using MFP regularly for 3 weeks now and I'm really getting the hang of it. Hello all!
Restarted my MFP journey a few weeks ago.
Got to the point of tipping the scale at 300 lbs and felt awful, awful, AWFUL!
Goal weight is currently 175 and then gonna see where I need to go from there!

I started a few days ago and weigh 230-228 depending on the day..my goal is to get to 160..I had a ****ty day and ate a hot dog w chili and cheese an ice cream cone, a diet pepsi...because we all know it makes the meal a bit better to swallow, and started my day with mcdonalds egg white delight...All because i meal prepped and left the house with out my lunch bag so of course that ment I needed to eat a freakin HOT DOG!!!

I know how you feel!!! i'm now 238, started at 330+, lost 135 lb but gained 70 due to a tumor & 2 major surgeries in 3 weeks the end of last year. Lost 35 of that & back at it.....I welcome friends!0
