I forget the name of the show, but it's a story of a lovely lady
who was bringing up three very lovely girls
all of them had hair of gold, like their mother.
    the youngest one in curls.

It's also astory of a man named Brady
Who was busy with three boys of his own.
They were four men living all together
    yet they were all alone

Till the one day when the lady met this fellow.
And they knew that it was much more than a hunch,
That this group must somehow form a family...
And then they became a bunch.

  • Someone already mentioned it, but Game of Thrones is a must if you haven't gotten into already!
    The Walking Dead
    Breaking Bad
    Dexter
Sons of Anarchy - really didn't think I would like it, but my friends were talking about it, and now I'm obsessed
    Modern Family (funny)
Hart of Dixie - cute and funny, only on the first season but seems promising!

We could be best friends! I never started Modern Family though

I'd like to add True Blood to this also.

Don't know if you have Netflix, but it's the best $8 bucks you can spend a month. My favorites on there:

    The Walking Dead
    Arrested Developement
    Downton Abbey
    American Horror Story
    Breaking Bad

It's worth paying for HBO just to watch Game of Thrones.

And they knew that it was much more than a hunch,
That this group must somehow form a family...
And then they became a bunch.

And then they went on a three hour tour
    The weather started getting rough,
    The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.

The ship and Bradys set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
    With Gilligan
    The Skipper too,
    The millionaire and his wife,
    The movie star
    The professor and Mary Ann,
    And Alice but not Sam
    Here on Gilligans Isle.

So this is the tale the castways,
They're here for a long, long time
They'll have to make the best of things,
    It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,
    Will do their very best,
    To make the others comfortable,
    In the tropic island nest.

No phone, no lights no motor cars,
    Not a single luxury,
    Like Robinson Crusoe,
    As primative as can be.

So join us here each week my freinds,
You're sure to get a smile,
    From fourteen stranded castways,
    Here on "Gilligan's Isle."

Brilliant!! One of my faves!! Love when they had the chinwags with nothing but the sides of the faces on camera...sigh - off to You Tube now...

    But how about:
    Nevermind the Buzzcocks
    EastEnders
    The Dave Allen Show
The Paul Hogan Show (long before this character "Crocodile Dundee" came about)
    The Following

Still nothing I haven't seen., Checked out house of cards and a few others, nothing good.

I'm shocked no one has mentioned Spartacus or Rome. I hope I'm not the only one who got to see those marvelous shows

    Downton Abbey
    Call the Midwife
    The Walking Dead
    Fringe

it would seem that you would like a sci fi / zombie period drama set in the late 19th and early 20th century in england.

i suppose to for fill the sci fi part, the outbreak would have be caused by a meteorite which also coincidentally ripped the fabric of space time, making it possible for different versions of reality to communicate. ooooo. goooood tv.

    ohh yeh.

you seem to watch a lot of tv for someone who thinks 1 1/2 of exercise a day or less is horribly lazy.

I'm not reading through four pages worth of replies, but in case no one has mentioned them:

    Sherlock
    Arrested Development
Adventure time (Pretty good for an animated series)

There are a ton more, but I saw many of them listed on the first page.

So I have seen most everything out there. But I am bored. Can you name a good tv show that I haven't seen yet?

Listing what I have seen would take days.....
