Does anyone follow Paul McKenna?

Hi
I got the book and DVDs last year but was too weak willed to do anything other than have a quick flick through the book. Have you tried his methods and do they work? I'm not following a specific diet and instead, I'm reducing portion size, only eating when I'm hungry and exercising, so I figure now that I'm motivated, it is worth my while taking a look at the book and DVDs.

I was given the book by my sister on birthday (sisters can do things like that!!). One month down the line I have lost nearly half a stone. Paul Mckenna says don't weigh yourself but it is difficult not to. I think the book helps, didn't get on with the CD though.0

Back in 2009 I use to weigh 296 pounds. I lost 16 pounds in 4 months with other methods such as carb counting, etc.... Around 04/02 of that year, I started with Paul Mckenna's book "I Can Make You Thin" and went down from 280 to like 210 by like 11/2009. I stopped doing the principles and now i'm about 243. I'm starting with them back up again. I was easy, fun and I ate whatever I wanted...........Just think, if I would have stayed with it.... I would be at my goal by now....... Oh, I did workout too.....0

I have the book and I followed the plan a few years ago. I thought it was a good but It didn't work for me long term. But I watched a four part show he did and I thought it was great.0

I know this is an old post but I wanted to respond anyway...:o)
I tried all manner of diets to loose weight since I was a teen. Even turning Vegan for a year thinking that would help but I lived on chips and put on a stone..
Weight watchers got some weight off me (the 3 times I tried it) but monitoring every mouthful became too tedious to keep up long term.
I finally got into a size 8 (uk) by using the paul mckenna I can make you thin cds. You eat when hungry, what you want, enjoy your food and stop eating when satisfied. I was never hungry, no food was out of bounds and I felt great. I lost so much weight that I was pestered by friends and work mates to go to the docs as there must be something wrong with me  ...the doc was happy with my food consumption and my weight was perfect for my height :drinker: .
Then I had a child and ended up a size 16..oh dear!
So...as from two days ago I am following the cds again and feel great...I still log my food on here and have noticed that my macros are better since "listening" to my own body...fat consumption is better and calories are nearly on track....hopefully the measuring tape will give results next week!!0 -
Hi there,
anyone still doing the PaulMcKenna thing? I am very interested in applying it in addition to tracking and need some motivation and opinions, please!0 -
I think I have the book somewhere, I am tempted to dig it out and have another look at it.....0
