Hello everyone,
I am not new to MFP, but I am on a new journey, since I had some setbacks on my last journey.
I was very motivated to lose weight in April of last year, and one week into a great start, I tore my ACL (playing rugby). 5 months later, I had lost a little bit of weight again, but had my ACL reconstruction surgery in August, and since then, I have put the weight back on again, and have hit my highest weight yet again.
I am hoping to lose 60 pounds, and change my lifestyle!
I started this weighing 215.0 lbs and hope to weigh 155 lbs.
I am 23, and a graduate student, and would love to have some friends to motivate me, and friends that I could look to for some support and advice...or just anyone that may be going through something similar, or also wants a motivating friend .
Thanks!!

Good Morning, I am so sorry to hear about your ACL tear. I tore my Left ACL around 2 years ago. I went through the rehab and got to walking and some jogging but thats as far as I got. This year I have decided to do something different. I decided to change my eating habits and to start working out regularly. I have since joined beach body and I have become a beachbody coach and I love to help people overcome their obstacles. I have been doing Insanity since January and I absolutely love it. I am currently in my second round of Insanity and just the other night I was able to do Sprints without my knee hurting. This had been the first time since two years since I have been able to sprint. I owe it to the hard work and dedication and my coaches keeping me accountable and that crazy guy named Shaun T for motivating me. If you are not on Team Beach Body I would love to be your coach. I would actually love to have someone to share my experience with since yours was pretty recent. You can sign up for a free account by going to beachbodycoach.com/bpippin. Also if you are on facebook you can find my group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/extfitness/
Just look me up and request to join the group. Would love to have you.0
