Hello everyone!
I've always been an apple-shaped "skinny fat" girl. This summer, I wanted to change that and stop hiding my mid-section. I even visited a few NYC liposuction surgeons. After seeing the $7000 price tag (+ recovery time), I decided that I would try to get rid of my belly myself through exercise and diet.

I've always worked out and eaten healthy but my tummy refuses to go in. I am kicking up my workout to cardio 5x per week and lifting and will start Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred soon.

I look forward to sharing my journey and learning from your experiences :-)

I did lipo twice and ended up having to diet and exercise as lipo doesnt get it all off, change your lifestyle or teach you better eating habbits!! I wasted over $15,000 on lipo and was still fat!! You're doing it right, it's much slower and totally sucks, but is the right way. If you'd like, you can add me and I'll be happy to encourage you along the way!! Either way, good luck!

    Appreciate the feedback!

I've always had a gut (but the rest of my body is skinny). It's caused a lot of self-esteem issues my whole life. As I was sitting at the plastic surgeon's office, I thought, "Let me try to REALLY work out and diet and make a lifestyle change. Not a quick fix"
