I'm working out at least 5 days per week. several days of weight lifting just doing a specific part at a time, two days of abs, and atleast 6 hrs. of cardio (moderate to high intensity) per week. If I consume my extra calories will I still lose weight? How much of that should I eat to stay healthy and still lose???

Yes you need to eat as many as you can back.0

Some days I eat them and some days I don't, it all depends on how hungry I am. Remember that MFP puts you at a 500 calorie deficit, so as long as your not overestimating your exercise calories you shouldn't gain if you eat them.0

Lots of debate about this. My best suggestion is to listen to your body. If your hungry, eat, if your not, don't eat. They are there for you to use. But don't look for things to eat because you haven't consumed all of them yet.0

Thanks, I am working out a lot. I am eating all day it seems. But now it's healthy stuff not the usual steak and potatoes. I like the idea of eating the extra calories more on some days than others. I didn't know there is a 500 cal deficit, why is that?0

It all depends on what you set your goal at. Mine is set to lose 1 pound a week and one pound equals 3500 calories, so I'm at a 500 calorie per day deficit. If you click on goals under the home tab it will show you what your deficit is.0 -

to lose a pound you need to burn 3500 calories so mfp gives you a deficit of 500 a day so that by the end of the week your 3500 down and therefore lose a pound. So if you eat 1200 and then exercise 200 cals you can eat the 200 cals and still be on track to lose that pound a week plus it helps speed your metabolism.0 -
