Don't give up, I know how hard it is and frustrating it can be. I have lost and gained- up and down took 8 yrs to get to 283 then I got serious in the last 2 yrs I lost 80 lbs but still up and down since MFP I have lost 26 steady no more up and down. there is so much support on this site. So many tips. I know you will do great here! Stick with it and so many of us will be here for you. my name is connie by the way and welcome to MFP:drinker:0

It is hard, but it's worth it.

It almost sounds stupidly cliche, but if you really want this, you'll work for it and you'll look back and think 'why didn't I do this sooner?!' Try small steps, small attainable goals toward your bigger picture. And never give up.
Good luck!0 -
Don't give up, it is a slow process but I know it will be worth it in the end both in my life and in yours

Thanx everyone! Im not giving up, I promised myself im gonna kick this weight in the butt.. I just get frusterated but I guess its normal. When I started in march I weighed 256 now I weigh 247 but my weight bounces from 247 to 250. Its insane makes me think what am I doing wrong. Very discouraging
but im still trying. I wanna b able to run around & play wih my son & not b so tired. He's turning 2 in July & hes already so active I wish I had his energy. 0 -

He's a cutie too! I have a two year old (he's my fourth and last) and honestly I think they sap the energy from us somehow.

Ignore the scale. Use measurements instead. Weight fluctuates from day to day.0

your weight will fluctuate...
I recommend just weighing yourself once a week under the same conditions. AKA right after you wake up and have used the restroom. Also any binges or large carb intakes will cause a spike in water weight. You just stick with it and your weight will come down fluctuations and all.0 -
Ya darn scale I need to hide it. Thanx ill try that0
