A little more motivation won't hurt!!

I've been on MFP for 45 days as of today, and I've lost around 14 pounds. My start weigh was 195ish... My goal weigh is 150, and I weigh 179 (still not official until Tuesday) So I have 29 pounds to lose, and I know it might not be easy, but do you guys think it's possible for me to hit this goal weigh within 6 months from now? meaning, Christmas. I want to go on vacations :x

I'm losing 1-2 pounds a week. Eating 1200 (works for me) and not exercising.

Hmmm....my mad mathematical skills show that you will have to lose 4.8333333333333333(and on) per month to reach this goal. My very wise reasoning skills tell me that this is doable. But you should work out, too! Otherwise you might look like the saggy baggy elephant (I've gained and lost and gained and lost, so I know) I don't know if you are a morning person, but Jorge Cruise's '8 Minutes in the Morning' is a great program for those who don't like working out. The book is available on Amazon for about $12. And it takes....8 minutes! In the morning! Good luck. Btw, I am 179 too! And my goal is 150 too! Craaayzee.

Awesome! and I know that I have to work out but thing is that when I work out I feel weak, and it's probably because I need to up my calories, but when I did that I didn't lose any weigh.. so I'm sticking with 1200 no exercise and when I reach 150 I'm starting insanity :D

It is definitely do-able. At least you are recognizing that your current weight loss of 2lbs a week will probably go down a little. I'm curious as to why you're waiting until then to start Insanity though.

Because I think it would be better, in terms of stamina, I can't take more than 10 mins of it..

Fair enough. I'm saving a few of the tougher things (like a 5k etc) for later too. That way a person always has a goal to work towards, too. Have a great rest of the weekend.

When you work out you must eat your exercise calories back. But also MFP can over estimate calories burnt, so may that's why you didn't lose on those days. If you search the forums, lots of people give good guidelines for calories burnt for different popular workouts. Also remember the number changes depending on how much you weigh.
