Hey Guys, I have been on the MFP program for 7 weeks and lost 11pounds thus far.
Starting weight 230 pounds.
But i am concerned that i will have left over skin. Has anyone lost alot of weight and not had the issue of left over skin?::blushing:

Nope, I have loose skin left over but I have heard that working out while you lose will help reduce the amount of skin

If you lose slowly, hydrate like a beast, take care of your skin (moisturize, use sunscreen/UV blocking clothing whenever you go outside) and do some strength training, you'll combat the loose skin problem and the stretch marks that you likely have. There may still be a little bit of loose skin at the end, wherever you were biggest; that, you'll have to either make peace with, or pay to have surgically removed. The stretch marks will fade some, but they may still be faintly visible; just remember, your body isn't ruined. You're a goddam tiger who earned her stripes.

Hi. I just had a baby so I lost 20 lbs in one week and then another 20 lbs over 5 months. I have very little excess skin. Almost zero. I believe it's bc if loosing the weigh slowly.

Also I did these things for skin health while pregnant and after:
    Drink plenty of water
Take 500 mg of DHA oil
Take 500 mg flax seed oil
Take 2-4 capsules of trader joes very green pills (antioxidants)
Dry brush my skin before showering (google dry brushing)
Apply organic oil to skin after showering
Eating collagen rich foods (google that)
And positive thinking! (Google Louise hay or Joyce Reynolds)
