Hey guys! Do any of y'all know some yummy and healthy ground turkey recipes? I'm in charge of dinner tonight and I have to cook this turkey because it goes bad tomorrow. Thanks!

This sounds good to me: http://recipefinder.nal.usda.gov/recipes/pizza-meat-loaf
Do you ever use the USDA recipe finder? It collects recipes form several different community sources and compiles them a searchable index. http://recipefinder.nal.usda.gov/

This. For the love of God, this: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/video-jamie-eason-turkey-meatloaf-muffins.htm

It's an awesome snack. I cook a double batch every time I make them because my family eats them so fast.

Hi! Sorry, I just now saw you post. I use ground turkey breast in chili and vegetable soup and other dishes I make that calls for ground beef. Such a difference in the calories and fat content. I have gotten used to it and have been experimenting with dishes. I am also using more chicken breast in soups and other dishes. I have some recipes on my page - if you can see them if you friend me. I'm not sure how that works. Feel free to friend me. Charlena

I know this was yesterday - but I make turkey burgers. Ground turkey, salsa, salt, pepper and some egg whites to bind (or a whole egg).

I make turkey tacos. Season the meat with cumin, salt, pepper, bell pepper, onion, and garlic, with a bit of hot sauce for moisture. Stuff taco shells with the ground meat mixture, shredded lettuce or spinach, tomatoes, avocado, and shredded cheese.

We make turkey taco salad all the time, over romaine lettuce with lots of veggies. Those who feel the need can still wrap it in a tortilla or taco shell, I eat it straight from the bowl.

I love ground turkey meatballs! You can make them the same way you'd make ground hambuger meatballs, but add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. :)

I rarely eat beef anymore and use Shady Brook Ground Turkey BREAST for just about everything I used to use ground beef for. I divide the package into 3 ounce patties and freeze on a tray. Then pop them into a bag and pull out whatever I need for a recipe or burgers. Note, if you just get ground turkey rather than ground turkey breast, there is a lot more fat in it, ground up skin, etc.

Chili -- can't really tell much difference from the beef - I add a boul. cube or a little beef broth

Spaghetti & Meat Sauce - just use ground turkey breast instead of ground beef

Meatballs -- just add an egg, a little bread crumbs, a little Parm cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, s&p and cook right in the sauce -- no extra fat from browning.

Tacos - just follow the directions on the seasoning package -- add tome Fritos brand mild cheddar dip and salsa on top - so good!

Turkey Burgers -- add what ever seasonings you like, maybe a little olive oil - and brown in olive oil. I don't add anything but onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper to the top of mine before cooking, but some might think this is a little dry. You can add a little barbeque sauce or sweet and sour sauce to the top after browning just to give it a change in taste. Eat on a bun like a burger or with veggies, rice, pasta, baked potato, etc.

Here's a really good recipe for Lighter Baked Spaghetti. It's very delicious. I didn't use chicken sausage. I replaced that with you guessed it - ground turkey breast!

Just experiment and you'll find lots of recipes where you can replace beef with ground turkey breast or ground chicken breast.
