How to stay full?

Hi! I am trying to figure how to have fewer calories... only a few hundred at a time. I am currently eating 1500 calories plus exercise calories back. I am doing this mainly for maintenance! However, I do find myself eating for emotional reasons, bored, etc. However, I think sometimes I do get very hungry and it comes on rather quickly.

How do you stay full throughout the day? Are you a snacker? Protein at every meal and snack, etc. Any help would be appreciated!

  • I drink tons of water throughout the day. I so snack a lot but I try to make most of it fruit, nuts or greek yogurt. add me so you can take a look at my diary and maybe get some ideas..

    drink tea, coffe chew gum etc

    TONS of water and TONS of whole grains/protein!! I try to eat protein at every meal and snack.

    I'll drink more water or try coffee if that doesnt work I'll have a snack like an apple or small tin of tuna. I also log what I really want to eat like chocolate or junk most times the calorie count scares me off and I reach for the healthier options.
  • Wow! Great ideas! I am around 120 lbs and today I drank close to 120 ounces of water! This is the most water I have had in a while. :) I hope it was a good start!
