Lower belly pooch

Hey there! I am in need of some advice... I have already lost some weight (about 4 pounds, but I am happy because my starting weight was already quite healthy for my height: 5'4", 120 pounds) and inches have gone off my waist and butt. My stomach has become flatter and I can see some abs starting to show up slightly (yay!).
HOWEVER I can't seem to get rid of that little extra fat at the bottom of my belly, like above my intestines, if that makes sense. I would like my belly to be flat everywhere but that small pooch remains! My boyfriend loves it but I don't hehe.

What kind of exercise should I do to target that area? My abs workout usually consists of classic crunches and obliques.

I also try to eat very healthy, lots of fruits and veggies, good fats and proteins and I avoid non-fruit carbs, except for my morning oatmeal or "good carbs" such as quinoa and green lentils.

Any help??

You can't target fat loss, unfortunately. It will come off where your body decides it will come off. The only thing to do is shoot for general fat loss, and keep it up until your body finally decides to pull it from that spot.

He's right you can't spot reduce, but strength training (not just abs) really helps.

I think for women, that is one of the last places the fat leaves the body. Have you also tried a cleanse or detox? That might help, if your colon needs to be cleaned out... (TMI?)
