So I've been having a hard time lowering my body fat % so I'm wondering if I need to lower my carb intake? I usually eat around 150+ g a day. I'm not concerned about losing "weight", I don't care what the number on the scale says, I just want to lose body fat %. Right now I'm at about 17% body fat and I'd like to get to 12-14% body fat. I heard that when trying to achieve a low body fat % you need to eat low carb or somewhat low carb or carb cycle. Is this really necessary? If so, how many carbs should I be eating if I do a lot of high intensity exercise like kickboxing? I don't want my performance to suffer.
