Hi all, I am a new mom to a beautiful little 7 month old. I have not been able to lose any weight since the baby was born. I am tried dieting, working out, running/jogging , eating right. I am tired of looking fat and disgusting. I have decided to join the gym, since I have had success before when working out. I am going to eat healthy and diligently count the calories . Give myself about 6 months to see if I lose any weight.
I am also going to up protein and fiber intake and reduce sugar as much as possible.
Any other new mommies in the same boat, please feel free to add me and we can help each other out.

Thanks you all. The reason for my frustration is people said "ohh you will breast feed and the weight will just fall off" . I breast fed for 6 months (my baby weaned herself). I did not lose any weight breast feeding.
Another school of people said, " I did not lose any weight while breast feeding, but as soon as I stopped the weight just fell off" Great I thought once she stops I will lose at least some weight. But nooo, no weight loss there either.
Any of you new moms or experienced moms experiencing the same issue I am. Please let me know.0 -
I gained 35lb while pregnant. I only breastfed for about 6 weeks. I lost weight quite quickly at the start but then have been stuck for months. I have about 10lb to lose. To be honest I haven't really tried though, so now I'm back at work I thought it was time to sort myself out! lol
I'm aiming for 30 mins exercise per day and sticking to my calories. I lost 14lb with this before I was pregnant so I know I can do it again.0
