So i'm going to the Dr about this in a few weeks, but im just wondering if anyone else has this problem.
This year I've noticed that my skin has taken on an odd yellowish tint. The palms of my hands and feet even look a little orange, And also the dark circles under my eyes have become more noticeable. Every time i see someone i know they've been asking me if im sick or tired.
My hands and feet are always cold, but that's something i've had for most of my life. I also havn't had my period in over a year, so all these things may be related.
Hopefully the dr figures it out, because I'm really starting to feel ugly!

Have you told your doctor that your skin is yellow? This could be jaundice which can indicate a serious health problem. You need to call your doctor's office today and tell them the symptoms you've been experiencing. They may want to see you sooner than a few weeks.0

Glad you are going to the Dr sounds like something very serious. I would keep calling them and see if they can get you in sooner tell them you appear jaundice!0

Nobody here is qualified to tell you what you may or may not have.
My advice would be to see a more immediate care physician sooner rather than waiting out the few weeks.
All the best.0 -
Get to a Dr. yellow skin could indicate liver problems0

Sounds like you are jaundice which is typically a sign of liver issues. I would push your doctor to be seen MUCH sooner than a couple of weeks. This could be very serious!
(I am not a doctor or in the medical field, my wife is so I know a very little)0 -
Are the whites of your eyes yellow? or your nail beds? which indicates jaundice
It could be you aren't getting enough protein, or vitamins and nutrient. Have you been exercising more or been in a calorie deficit during the time you haven't had your period?0 -
Get to the doctor. Sooner, not later0

Idk, but it doesn't sound good. Just google yellow skin and bad circulation and you will see. Log off and go see DR immediately!!! Not having your period in a year sounds really bad too. Wth, is this even serious???0

see a endocrinologist and a functional medicine doc asap.0 -
Sounds like it is a beta carotene overdose.0

or you could have been eating too many carrots!!
Either way the doc is the place you need to go & this week preferably!!0 -
Sounds like what I have.Raynaud's syndrome. It can sometimes indicate lupus.Bring up that possibility with your Doctor.
I was diagnosed in December when my hands turned purple and orange.
You can google it and find pictures to see if it looks familar.
It doesn't get better but there are meds that can control it.
It's a circulation issue so take it seriously.0 -
Edited for duplicate post0

Yellow skin usually indicates jaundice (I have had it, due to gal stones believe it or not. Fun times.) Go to the ER if your liver is failing or their is a blockage preventing it from functioning you will want to know.
And yellow skin can be caused by auto immune disorders but why wait two weeks to find out? Especially given if it is liver issues and your skin is turning yellow that usually indicates a percentage of damage that is worrying. (My liver was 10% down on function when It occurred.)0 -
Hypothyroidism fits those symptoms as well.0

Thanks for all the replies! Raynauds and Lupus sound like a possibility, but I'm pretty sure i'm not jaundice. I used to think it was because I eat a lot of veggies and carrots and sweet potato, but I think it's more than that. It looks like an unhealthy yellow, which is weird because I live such a healthy life style. I also get tired really easily, so I think it's more than eating too much carotene. Going to on the fourth so hopefully I'll find out soon.0
