reintroducing meat into your diet.

I've dabbled in vegetarianism for years. Three or so years ago, I decided to start eating poultry, and fish, and I was fine. I haven't had beef, or pork in nearly five years. I want to go back to eating it. I was never vegetarian for ethical, or moral reasons. It was more just to do it.

Anyone done this, and felt just fine? I know jumping into it by eating a bacon cheeseburger probably isn't the best idea, but I'm just looking for advice, or tips, or experiences.

I recently had steak after having not had red meat in 25 years. I had a bit of a belly ache the first time, and still get pretty bad gas when I have beef, but it does not cause any ache anymore.

Maybe start with some beef soup with a few slivers of steak in it?

I would take baby steps in adding back beef and pork. Like the above poster said maybe a soup with some beef and go from there. Get your body use to having it before having that bacon cheeseburger.
