I am new to My Fitness Pal and it suggested that I stop by and introduce myself. So I am stopping by to say "HEY" I have a lot of weight to loose and it seems over whelming. I have tried over and over...and like most of us, I am sure...lost some gained much more...I need to loose 125 pounds...

I just joined as well and like you I have a long way to go. I hope to lose 110 lbs. I started on this project about 3 weeks ago and feel better already. But heck, I have done that many times before. The trick will be staying with it this time. I look forward to seeing you on the boards and seeing your progress. Go have a wonderful healthy day!0 -

I stared walking 6 weeks ago and I have a good amount of weight to lose. I have tried and failed many times to drop the pounds. I heard about this website while watching the Today Show while walking on my treadmill this morning and decided to give it a try. I love the ease of use and all the tools this website has to offer. I plan to track my food and exercise daily. I am setting mini goals for myself so that it is not so over whelming for me.
I hope to give and receive words of encouragement and support from the many wonderful people on this website.0 -
Welcome to MFP! This is a great site for virtual support for your fitness, weight loss, and other health-based goals (sometimes even emotial health - LOL!). Log in as often as you can and let know how you are doing. You can get rid of 125 lbs. I am not saying that it will be easy - I am still trying to get rid of 20 myselft - but I am saying that all the great people on MFP can help you get there. Take care, good luck and stay in touch.

Hi, y'all. I just joined. I need to lose 65 lbs. I have tried lots of different diet plans and I stick to them for a while and then I get bored. I am currently unemployed and that is wrecking havoc with my weight. I eat just to have something to do.:frown:0
