A small, and slightly annoying success

Hi all,

On my evening walk last night I popped into a store just to have a little look around. They had loads of clothes on sale so I had a dig through the racks. The last time I bought a top there I had to get a 22 as their sizes run small (I could wear a 20 from most other places), that was about a month ago. I know I've gotten a little smaller so I thought I would get a size 18 and even if it's too small I'll get into it sooner or later.

So I found a top I just loved that was half price, gotta love a bargain. The fitting rooms were closed as it was a bit late to I just bought it and went on my way.

Well, I tried it on this morning all ready for the inevitable disappointment of it being too small and prepared to stick it in the back of my wardrobe to await the day I could get into it. Ya know what though . . . it was too big! I can't remember the last time I was able to say that a size 18 is too stinkin' big!

I walked my butt back to the store this morning to exchange it for a size 16 . . . but they didn't have any That's the annoying bit.

I know it's not a huge success, but I haven't been below a size 20 since I was in highschool, so I'm dang near doing back flips!

(For those in the US, UK sizes run roughly one size up on US sizes. UK18=US16, UK16=US14, you get the idea)
