what makes 24 hr fitness better than planet fitness?

why do people slander planet fitness so much when 24 hour fitness isnt that much better?
plus it costs a lot more

    Hmm. It's hard to say because each Planet Fitness is individually owned and operated... I don't know if that's the case with 24 Hour Fitness.

    Some complaints about Planet Fitness though fairly include:

    - Limited weight selection (depending on the PF)
    - Insulting commercials
    - Free pizza and tootsie rolls (really?)
    - A judgmental attitude for a no-judgment zone including a lunk alarm

    I actually only had a few problems with a Planet Fitness when I was rehabbing, since I wasn't lifting that heavy and a few dumbbells up to 60 pounds and cardio machines sufficed for $9.99 or whatever it was they charged. At least, until they kicked me out because I "slammed" a dumbbell to the ground. Which I absolutely didn't, haha, and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
