    off to do some computer work (play) than shred. shower and a good book. DH's bday is today, nothing planned.

    :smile: YEAH I am down 2.8 pouns this week, almost to my goal weight for this challenge!!!!!

    Have been working on my eating and it seems to be working. Plus did some workouts but need to get back on the wagon in that department, maybe it will make this cold go away.

    Cathy - With how hot it has been there I am sure that is the cause for the gain. You can do it this week, positive thoughts.

    I hope you all have success today.

    AFM : It is off to work today and then my weigh in for my weight loss challenge with my friends, so hopefully this will stay off for tonight.

    WOW! I don't know how that happened, but I'll certainly take it! I must have been holding onto some water weight last week, because a 3.6 pound weight loss in one week doesn't make sense to me (especially considering how much I ate over the weekend!)...

    Today's plan:

    B: Kashi Go Lean Crisp, skim milk, peach
    S: Cottage cheese and tomatoes
    L: Turkey, tomato, and mustard on light wheat bread, greek yogurt, apple
    S: Pistachios
    D: Spaghetti Squash and Tomato Sauce, parmesan cheese, garlic toast

    Workout:

    3-4 mile run at the gym (treadmill... - too hot outside!)
    Strength Training - legs today!

    Morning!

    Well...down half a pound this week...which I won't complain about since I ate HORRIBLY this weekend! So...back to it!! It's been HOT HOT HOT here...and we have a heat advisory today! So...that means no running for me. I would love to get a good run in on the treadmill, but Kadence does not allow it. I can get her to play on her own in her room for the 28 minutes it takes for me to shred, but any more than that and she's screaming at me! SO...as long as I can get in SOME kind of workout, I'm happy!

    Food plan:
    B-1/2 c. Quaker oatmeal squares, 1/2 c. Banana nut cheerios, 1/2 c. skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar-free creamer
    S-banana, Kashi breakfast bar
    L-Cafateria food today...we shall see...
    S-Georgia Peach, walnuts
    D-Marinaded butterfly pork chops, some sort of vegetables
    S-Kashi Dark chocolate cookie...YUM!

    Exercise plan:
    Shred level 3...and I might check out some of the other videos I have around our house.

    Morning girlies :

    Ugh i miss you all .....
    seriously!
    Been some crazy months ...... ive been planning my little heart out for my sons 2 year old party!
    and i know he wont remember it..... but this party has been what is getting me through my recent loss....
    Something i can focus on completely!!!!!!
    other then running after my said TODDLER haha! .....

    Ive been making better food choices....... getting exercise in when i can.......

    Once this party is over.... and I come back from my trip !!!!
    I will have my little computer so I should still be able to check in at nights when the baby is sleeping!

    I am going to bump it up a notch and try at least get to 250 ....... and then worry about the rest when i reach that!!!!!

    Well. I have been hiding from this place and my #s show it. I am up 2 pounds from the start of this challenge. My life is chaos right now. My kids are home a few days, then gone, then at the beach then camping. There is no way to have an excercise routine or any routine for that matter. I will be so glad when they are back in school! But we have about 4 more weeks of weekend excursions, etc until that happens. I am going to give it a go at posting my food options for the day. Its a start and seems to work for some of you!

    B- Natures Path Organic Pumpkin Flax Granola (3/4 c), 1% milk (1/2 c.)
    am S - Pluot(a fruit much like a plum), Kashi Almond crunch granola bar
    L- Not sure but will come home for lunch
    mid S- Carrot sticks
    D- grilled chicken breast, brown rice and a veggie of which is undecided
    pm S- 60 cal dark chocolate fudgecicle

    And last but not least....96 ounces of water

    Hey Ladies I am going to drop out for awhile. I haven't been on board lately. This Friday is my birthday and I have been out of control with my eating and not exercising at all. So I am going to return to you in September. I will be ready to go for it as it will be one year before my wedding. In the mean time I just don't want to think about calories and working out for a month. I will check in from time to time. I will miss you but I know you all will be here when I get back.     amy_36. hows the iron treatments working? it has been rough road for me. really having to stick with it.

    i have been working most of the morning with a listing and a buyer. ate lunch typing a mssg. than i wanted something. not hungry, grabed a graham cracker and the jar of peanut butter. ate 1/4 of the cracker and asked what i was doing and gave the rest to the dogs and put it away, on my way to the store to get the sugar free popscycles i like that are buy one get one free. than back home to work some more.

    My friend brought me back several pounds of fresh peaches from Michigan last weekend, so I'm going to experiment with "Chunky Peach Popsicles" this evening. Found the recipe on Eating Well.

    1 1/4 pounds ripe peaches (halved and pitted)
    Juice of one lemon
    1/4 cup fresh orange juice
    1/4 cup sugar, or to taste
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1. Coarsely chop peaches in food processor. Transfer 1 cup of the chunky peaches to a medium bowl. Add lemon juice, orange juice, and sugar to the food processor and puree until smooth. Add to the bowl with the chunky peaches and stir in vanilla.
    2. Divide mixture among 12 2-oz or 8 3-oz freezer-pop molds. Freeze until set.

    Only 33 calories per pop if you make 12!

    Came home for lunch- had a 100 cal 98% fat free tortilla w/lowfat refried black beans and a sprinkle of cheese.....320 cals later:noway: I just didnt think I was using that many cals. With my planned dinner I am over by 158 cals. I can give up my 60 cal fudgesicle tonight but will still be over 100 cals. Guess I am going to have to get a workout in!

    I will be going in next week to have my blood drawn to see if the infusion worked. I thought it was working but then the last few days I have been exhausted. We shall see!

    yea, lula nice loss and puts you in the minus. must have been lots of sodium.

    doing shred today and getting back my good eating. had cake last night that DD made for DH. had such a huge piece we were sick. so now when i look at it i can remind myself how sick i was eating it. hope it works.

    Good morning.

    I am SO disappointed in myself. Yesterday I did HORRIBLY!!! But I won't even talk about it...today is a new day and I am going to make it a FABULOUS one!

    Food plan:
    B-1/2 c. Quaker oatmeal squares mixed with 1/2 c. Banana Nut Cheerios, 1 c. skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar-free creamer
    S-Banana, Kashi soft-baked Ripe Strawberry bar
    L-1/2 c. fat-free cottage cheese, 15 Kashi Toasted Asiago crackers, baby carrots, light yogurt
    S-1/8 c. walnuts, Braeburn apple
    D-4 oz. Butterfly pork chop, 2 oz. Allegro marinade, Red baked potato, 1 c. green beans
    S- Red grapes, Kashi Dark Chocolate cookie

    Exercise plan:
    Shred level 3

    K- We must have had the same bad night! Desert got the best of me. That little black cookie that has the white stuff hidden inside. Left over snacks from camping should not be aloud back in the house!

    But, like you said, today is a new day!

    Breakfast- 3/4 c. Natures Path Organic pumkin flax granola, 1/2 c. 1% milk

    Lunch-
    Mid S-
    Dinner- Chicken breast ,brown rice, veggie

    Those are the only things certain for the day. I wanted to ask, how many cals are you ladies consuming? I am not sure 1200 is realistic for me?!

    Hi Freckles - I was new to this group during the past 5.5 weeks, and I've found these ladies to be so inspiring and welcoming! We'll start a new 6 week challenge on Monday!

    Hi all! Got up and went to Water Walking in the lazy river this morning (got done before a huge storm blew in, so I'm glad I went to the early session). Burned 365 calories, so that was a good start to the day!

    Plan:

    B: Kashi Go Lean Crisp, skim milk
    S: Peach
    L: Leftover spaghetti squash and sauce, garlic toast (maybe)
    S: Granola bar, or something else... (we're running out of food at the house!)
    D: Dinner at Olive Garden with an old friend! I can't wait! I'm getting an Apricot Chicken dish that is less than 500 calories, however I'll need to try to avoid the breadsticks...

    Workout:

    Already did Water Walking, but I may hit the gym after work for a short run too (dinner date isn't until 7pm) - We'll see.
