I've been using this thing to track my calories for a month now.
I'm on 1500 a day, and I'm lucky to hit that most days. I go to the gym almost everyday and do cardio and strength training for at least an hour.
The problem is I don't seem to be losing any weight! I was down initially, about 1KG but now I find I've put on 500gms in a week??
I don't knwo what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help me out?
I'm in New Zealand.

As wierd as it sounds - you are probably not eating enough food - you should be eating your 1500 cals plus your exercise cals in a day if you are not - then your body is in starvation mode. We hear daily the whole cals in versus cals output and you need to be in a negative cals position to see the weight come off, but your body is probably very use to your routine of exercise - so why don't you try it - eat your exercise cals and max on your 1500 and see what happens? If you're getting nowhere - then try it. Also make sure your salt content is low - water might be an issue too.0

Just be patient and try adjusting your calories. I would suggest finding the threads on BMR and TDEE and go from there. Best of luck!0

make sure you work your legs at the gym. one of best ways to speed up your metabolism is to do legs. they are the largest muscle group. for the next 48 hours your body will burn calories to recover your leg muscles. squats, lunges, leg extensions, leg curls, calve raises, etc...
keep in mind that if you are turning fat into muscle sometimes you won't see results on the scale. make sure you are tracking your measurements as well - waist, chest, arms, thighs, etc...
keep it up - you will see results.0
