How accurate is 1,000 calories for Texas de Brazil?

I think it says two plates of only meat is 1,000 calories on MFP. How accurate is the estimate in your opinion? I am going for a friend's birthday dinner and I know they cut small portions of different meats during the dinner.

I went and just kept track of the individual meats & portions I got. it was well under 1000 calories.
