Fitness Evolved 2012 Question

I just bought this game for the Kinect. I have the older version and the calories burned seemed very accurate for what I was doing, based on my height and weight. The evolved 2012....not so much. I have my height and weight set in. I fully push myself and by the end of a 35 minute workout it says I have only burned 102 calories. This doesn't seem very accurate, seeing as I am jump roping and kick boxing.
I don't understand why the count is so low when other workouts are higher. This game, say what you will about it, really does work you. The sweat literally was soaking my clothes. So what gives?

Only started Fitness Evolved today as I was using the original version (which I love). I was extremely disappointed in doing the same cardio boxing workout on both and only burning about half the calories on the 2012 game. I'm now confused as to which one is correct. I feel the original was right considering how my body felt afterwards. I am considering sticking to the first game but would be very upset to learn I wasn't burning the calories I thought I was0
