Count today's NSVs with me!

I am frickin' proud of myself right now! Would you like to help me count my NSVs? Ah ha ha ha!
I workout on my lunch hours. There is another woman at work who always works out with me. We do yoga on Mondays and Wednesdays, bootcamp on Tuesdays and Thursday, and usually go for a walk or jog on Fridays (although we haven't done any serious running in over a year.)
Well, my workout partner took today off. Usually, that is an excuse to go out to eat and skip my workout. Not today! (NSV #1) I had a package I needed to ship, so I thought I would walk to the ShipIt store that is a couple blocks away, send my package, and then walk or jog our normal loop - backwards because of going to the ShipIt store first.
So I did. After dropping off the package, I decided I would jog for as long as I could. I jogged for two minutes, and almost talked myself into doing fartleks (2 minutes jogging, 1 minute walking, repeat). But I didn't stop! (NSV #2) I continued jogging. Then it dawned on me. I was going to have to tackle "THE HILL." I always think of this particular hill in all caps like that. Because we usually do this loop backwards, I normally jog DOWN this hill. But I was going to have to go UP. I told myself to jog to the hill, and evaluate when I got there. Maybe I would walk up it.
But I didn't! I jogged all the way up! (NSV #3) I even jogged backwards to take this picture.
It doesn't look nearly as difficult in the picture as it really is.
Then I kept jogging! No walking! For forty minutes! (NSV #4)
I reached THE OTHER HILL. The one I usually do have to go up. As I jogged down it, I thought "I could totally jog up this one, too." So I did! FOUR TIMES! Like suicide drills in basketball. I jogged down to the first mailbox and back up, then down to the second mailbox and back up, then the third mailbox and back up, then down to the intersection and back up. (NSV #5, #6, #7, and #8!!!)
I did 4.0 miles in 48 minutes - although I was walking the first eight minutes, because I had that package with me. Woo Hoo!
Let's keep counting! What is your Friday NSV?

It's amazing what we can do if we don't let our brains talk us out of it. Way to go! I have two DREADED HILLS on my running route so I totally understand THE HILL.0

A week and a half ago, I got into a size 30 jean comfortably (no squeezing to get there), which for a 57 year old guy, 5'7" 175 pounds is great. I haven't been in a size 30 since high school 40 years ago (and almost 50 pounds less).
But the NSV was today when at work on casual Friday, I was wearing my size 32 jeans, and someone commented on me wearing my skinny jeans. And I was able to say, "nope. These are my fat jeans". I never thought I'd be able to say my size 32s were my fat jeans.
Size 28 jeans, here I come.0 -
My NSV today: I was carded buying beer, the cashier said 'you've lost a lot of weight since that picture was taken.' 'Almost 50 pounds I said.' 'I could tell it was a bunch by your face.' She replied. PS I don't drink much beer anymore lol.0

Today I exercised when I didn't want to. I wore a pair of shorts I haven't worn in 2 years. Also, I bought a size medium shirt. The shirt is a little tight, but the large looked terrible on me and there was too much fabric under the arms.0
