I notice on the cardiovascular choices there is general gardening and lawn mowing but cannot find anything for cleaning and vacuuming or hoovering the house. I know its not very sexy but it can take as much energy and time as gardening and can be as vigorous as mowing - so am I missing something ?

i dont count it. The way i look at it is that it is normal activities i do all the time and in the past have never helped with weight loss. If they help you burn a little extra i just take it rather than "counting" it.

From what I have read on these posts that should be under your 'normal daily activities' in your profile when you picked sedentary, lightly active, active and very active. You be the judge!

    it's listed as:
    Cleaning, light, moderate effort
    OR
    Cleaning, heavy, vigorous effort

I choose based on how much I bent over or squatted, how sore it seems like I'd be the next day, whether it was regular daily stuff or spring cleaning type effort. Also how much i sweated which is bad really cause we are headed into summer and I'm gonna sweat more doing the same exact things, so IDK?
