Thanks for this...I'd like to know too.0

yum. It's hazelnut/cocoa spread. It's has hydrogenated oils in it though, so you probably shouldn't eat it.0

I love Nutella!! Discovered it in Europe where they eat it on bread for breakfast....yummy!! But there is NOTHING about it that is good for you!! RESIST!! i finally had to quit keeping it in the house, my sons loves it, but I always ended up snaking on it....bad Nutella...0

and the first ingredient in it is sugar, so you probably shouldn't eat it.
(although, I admit, if they would sell it in single serve packets, I'd buy it on treat day and eat it. It's like a spreadable candy bar.)0 -
It's soooo good yet so full of calories, sugar, fat, ect. If I keep it in my cupboard, I will eat it in a few sittings.0
-
We have it in single serving packets....
we have it in snack packs with little mini bread sticks....
we have it in another snack pack with bread and tea.....
and we have small, medium, large, super, and super huge jars of it.

Well.... I guess it's a good thing I don't like hazelnut.0

I never heard of it until I joined MFP. I love it. It is sooooooooooooooo good. I leave it it work because it I took it home it would be gone in one day. :bigsmile:0

Mmm Nutella! If eaten in moderation (Meaning a tablespoon at a time) every few days, it's not horrible for you and definitely curbs my chocolate, goooeeeyy craving!!!! I put it on a high fiber english muffin for a yummy yet nutritious snack.0

You are better than me, Tami... I eat it by the spoonfuls if it's around! haha!!! For some reason I can control myself with PB but Nutella, o' sweet, delicious NUTELLA!!!! No that's a different story! LOL!0 -

Hate to do this to you, but -- they do. The sell it at ohhhh what is the name... World Market or something like that. that's what I get so I don't have a whole jar lying around.0 -
banana and nutella crepes are amazing....
when i was studying abroad in France, my friends and I would go buy a jar of it and a freshly baked baguette and just dip it and eat it.
Surprisingly I did this often and came home looking thinner. I LOVE EUROPE.
anyway, its not good for your body, but it does wonders for me mentally. keeps my happiness alive.0 -
Good to know that it could be used to replace candy bars.... maybe... in moderation.... with the rest under lock and key in the pantry0
-
I have no clue...some sort of chocolate pasty something???
Maybe it's a body rub, or a long lost cousin of Fluff -N- Stuff.0 -
Sounds wonderful ever time I hear every body talking about it... However I have never had it!!! I am too scared to buy it after all the raves about it... Sounds like that might be something I don't need in the house. I finally got rid of the majority of the junk and it no longer bothers me. I can't imagine bringing something new into the house to try to break away from.... Hmmm maybe when I closer to my goal I might try it....0

Oh no! Another Nutella thread!!
Nutella is a hazelnut/cocoa spread. It is European (where they use waaaaaay less sugar than us Americans). I use it as an alternative to chocolate and as a treat every now and then. (especially if I have exercise calories to burn).
I have to say that I have always been able to eat it in moderation. It isn't as sweet as chocolate, so it hits that spot without making me want to stuff my face. But if you can't resisit the temptation then it might not be a good thing to have around.0 -
lol wow......nutella is everyone's fantasy around here:)0

I bought some english muffins last night so I could put my nutella on them and make a sandwich for snack today and wouldn't you know it, I left the english muffins at home.  :sad:0
