well you can see a little of my background on my profile.

looking for anyone that is willing to be friends. i need all the motivation i can get.
going to have a busy/hard semester so i need motivation to keep working out to defeat the stress, the fat and the weights.

i use to be pretty skinny and fit when i was in the army. then i got fat and lazy.

i shot up to 305lbs in early 2009. i got down to 250lbs last september. my youngest boy was born and i stopped working out and eating right.

i then shot up to 280lbs by the first of the year. i am now down to 263lbs this morning. i am going to get back on track starting today. start my parttime job today, so im off third shift and hopefully get adjusted to sleeping nights again soon. i am going to the gym in a just a few minutes.

just ate my breakfasts. Oats baby woot.

again i need friends and any assistance anyone wants to give me thanks!

  • Hey Smiley!! Hope you are successful in getting back on track. Make it your lifetime habit cuz you gotta count calories and workout daily in order to maintain. You have all the tools here at your fingertips. Make it your mission to encourage and support at least 3 new people every day on this website. If you begin to be bored or feel real tempted, go outside and workout or get on this website and encourage someone. God bless you on your weight loss journey!!

Hello & welcome!! I have done the same thing, I will do so good and lose quite a bit and then get off track and gain it back. I found this website and I love it because I have others to go to when I'm not feeling so motivated to keep on. The important thing is that we're back into it now and we CAN do this!! Great job already on your breakfast and the gym!! Keep it up!!

Welcome to MFP! I know what you've been through w/ kids and packing on the pounds. Then you get to the point where you need to loose weight to keep up w/their energy level. You can do and this is a great tool to help you get there. You're welcome to friend me if you'd like. Good luck!
  • Welcome! I hope you're able to get back on track, and maintain this healthy lifestyle. Don't beat up on yourself if you have a day where you're "off track". Just get back on the wagon the next day, and make it count! Good luck with school. I'm also a full time student and a mom of 2, and it's tough! Add in a new healthy lifestyle and exercise and some days I don't know if I'm coming or going!
