How is this salmon this low in calories?

How can those be only 100 cals for 4oz? I'm lacking on my salmon knowledge but I know 100 calories doesn't sound right.

Doesn't sound right to me either - also the fat is far too low for salmon, which is a high fat fish.

The walmart ones are probably injected full of water to make the weight up. These are also frozen fillets, not fresh

19g of protein sounds about right, but the 2.5g of fat very low.

There is a lot of variation in oil content in different species of salmon. Chum or Dog salmon (sold as Keta Salmon) has the lowest oil content. Farm raised Atlantic is also low. Chances are, if you are buying by price, you are getting Keta. (It is called dog salmon because the eskimos prefer other species due to taste and save it to fee their dogs. Chum because it was sometimes used for bait by commercial fishermen due to price.)
