Exercise While Sore from Yesterday

When my muscles are sore from an exercise the previous day, should I take the next day off from doing exercises that work out those muscles?

As a general rule, you shouldn't work the same muscle two days in a row.0

Hmm. But if it is not the same exercise? i.e. I did a barre workout video and now my thighs are killing me. Should I not do yoga (which will also work out my thighs)?0 -

I vote do it. I use yoga to recover from sore muscles. It strengthens, but it also stretches. Kind of an active recovery.0 -
