This is continued from previous Walking Challenges, but its nice when each month has its own thread.

*** Anyone can join in at any time, the more the merrier, lets keep each other motivated****

Walking seems like the easiest way to start getting exercise, and even if you can't track distance (or don't want to), tracking time is good too...go for a 10 min walk after dinner, or up it to 30 minutes, you'll be amazed at the end of the month how much more exercise your getting in. :)

Check in everyday with how far you walked or how long, this is just to motivate us to get in at least some exercise everyday, and keep an eye on each other.

I want to try to keep this mostly to walking or walking type exercising. treadmills and ellipticals are A-OK.

Hope to see some more faces in this challenge, we'll start tracking June 1st

I'm in! Couldn't walk last night due to monsoon type rains, nor tonight due to "possibly" (no X-rays yet) breaking my finger at work. But back on it tomorrow(or today, whatever) after work! Will check in after my walk!

I'll join in. Saturday June 1st was 7500 steps and Sunday was 2500 steps. I'm on my way for June.

My goal for the month will be: 20 miles.

I like the pictures of your kids in your wt. tracker. They sure are cute.

I got in an unintended walk yesterday. My daughter's bike got a flat while we were out on our ride. That makes about 2 miles for me.

I'm in. I don't really work out, but I'm a weird sort of lazy in that if I can walk to a place in a reasonable amount of time and don't have to lug a bunch of stuff back with me I'll decide to walk rather than drive. I probably average about 40 minutes a day.

Kind of off topic, but has anyone had a problem with walking and having people constantly stop to see if you want a ride somewhere? Maybe it's just that I look like i'm going somewhere instead of just walking for fun combined with the fact that I don't tend to wear anything that could be construed as workout clothes when I'm out and about.
