Best fish for diet/weight loss?

I personally love salmon and of course it's one of the most recommended foods on diets etc. Some sites have recommended cod fish so I'll probably get it and bake it. Any other fish recommendations for a low-calorie diet?

Mine are salmon and mahi for the most part. I like most fish, though.

This is what I would say also. So long as it's not fried.

Wild Salmon and Halibut. I also adore raw cherrystones, oysters, grilled octopus and calamari.
How about dungenous (sp) crab and soft shell crab? An occasional lobster, too.

I would think pretty much any fish would be diet friendly as long as it's not fried or smothered in butter!!

Tilapia/salmon/mahi, pretty much what I eat.
Any fish is good, the way you prepare it is what matters.

I love salmon but found I actually prefer steelhead trout. It's not always easy to find but I always stock up and freeze it (I live in Arizona so getting fresh fish all the time is not an option). I also really like rainbow trout, mahi mahi, catfish and pacific rockfish. Black cod is a real delicacy if you can find it. I think my all time favorite fish is barracuda but I have never seen it for sale, and if you do get you hands on one they are quite time consuming to clean (they have a very strong bloodline and you need to make sure it is all removed prior to cooking) but boy are they worth every second.

    -Salmon (wild preferred over farmed)
    -Rainbow Trout
    -Mahi Mahi
    -Sea Bass

Kinda stay away from tilapia after watching a documentary on them...they make catfish look clean.

I'm picky with fish, but I love salmon, ahi tuna steaks, and mahi mahi- I make skinny mahi-mahi tacos when I'm craving Mexican but want to save some calories. Seafood, on the other hand- I love it all! Shrimp, calamari, crab, lobster, oysters.... MMMMM!
