Stating Resistance

Hi! I recently found out that my obesity has caused me to become Statin Resistant. That means cholesterol medication no longer works for me. My fat cells have started to produce a protein that blocks the absorption of Statin medication as well as causing the body to hold on to more cholesterol. So how is that for a wake up call...there goes the medication back up plan. I am 42 with a family history of heart attack and stroke and I have hypertension and high cholesterol. So today is day 2 of my plan to stick around for awhile. I would like to lose 80 pounds in a year to eighteen months. Here goes...

Best of luck. That's how I got into this as well...high cholesterol and overall bad blood work along with a family history of related issues. I've completely reversed my blood work in about 8 months and lost 35-40 Lbs. You can do it.
